Walmart Cashier Paints Disabled Woman’s Nails After She’s Turned Down By Nail Salon
Woman in a wheelchair is refused service from a local nail salon before lovely Walmart cashier helps paint her nails for free
We belive that every person deserves to get their nails done – regardless of age, gender or disability. A Burton, Michigan-based nail salon turned down Angela Peters, a woman who is in a wheelchair due to her cerebral. Thankfully, Ebony Harris, a cashier at the local Walmart witnessed Peters being turned away and decided to take action. Harris became a hero that day, offering to give Peters the manicure she deserved, painting her nails free of charge.
The two women picked out the perfect color of nail polish, sat down at the Subway restaurant inside of the Burton Walmart and Harris panted Peter’s nails while she was on her lunch break.
“I just wanted to make her day special. I didn’t really want her day to be ruined. That’s why I did it. And plus she’s a sweetie,” Harris told WJRT. “And you know, she moved her hands a little bit and she kept saying she was sorry. And, I told her don’t say that. I said you’re fine.”
Tasia Smith, an employee of the the Subway next to the nail salon, took a picture of the act of kindness and posted it to Facebook, where it has since been shared thousands of times and become a viral news story of heartwarming kindness.
