We Don’t Know How To Feel About Uber’s New Logo
Uber updated its logo again, right after we just got used to the old one
The ride-hailing app, Uber is a fan of changing its logo and branding more often than not and just released a new logo that will now be used on everything, including the branding for Uber Eats. We remember back when Uber made the first radical shift in updating its look and feel and people had mixed feelings about it then as well.
Below, we’ve highlighted the progression of Uber’s logo since the app was founded back in 2009.
With the new look, Uber is aiming to bring back the “U”, which can now be found on its website, Twitter page, and other various assets. Uber told AdWeek in an exclusive that the design took nine months to create and the new typeface, otherwise known as Uber Move is tied directly back to mobility and can be seen in various curvy roadways. Although the icon on the app has already updated on millions of phones around the world, the rest of the redesign will rollout within the next couple of months.
While we don’t hate the new logo, it will definitely take some time to get used to the look. Let us know what you think about Uber’s new logo in the comments section below and be sure to subscribe to The Sitch for more logo updates and other entertaining reads.
