Here’s a look at 'The Mandalorian', Star Wars’ first live-action series
Not much is known about The Mandalorian but the lone gunfighter looks pretty serious
On Thursday, Lucasfilm dropped a sneak peek of The Mandalorian, which is set to be the first live-action Star Wars streaming series. The timing of the series takes place after Boba Fett and Jango and is now giving way to a new, unknown character. According to the press release, The Mandalorian will take place sometime between the fall of the Empire and arrival of the First Order.
Although we still don’t know too many details about the lone soldier, we do know that the show is set to be directed by a roster of A-List directors including Dave Filoni, Deborah Chow, Rick Famuyiwa, Taika Waititi, and Bryce Dallas Howard. We, along with the rest of all the other Star Wars fans out there can’t wait until the trailer drops.
THE MANDALORIAN now owns me body and soul. Sorry new wife. Sorry new jobs. I live only for THE MANDALORIAN.— Jackson Lanzing writes weird. (@JacksonLanzing) October 5, 2018
Something's off about how #TheMandalorian's helmet is smooth & pristine, especially when his armor is all roughed up and well-worn. Even Boba Fett had a giant ding in his helmet, probably from when someone tried to shoot him in the head.
