Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy Sour Patch Kids cereal for breakfast
First, they’re sour, then they’re sweet, and now they’re...cereal?
Starting December 26, Sour Patch Kids will release a new cereal available at Walmart. The candy, which has been around since the 70’s, is very popular - as a candy - but has recently also made appearances as both candy corn and ice cream. Both the candy corn and ice cream were met with mixed reviews.
Apparently, cereal is losing popularity because of the amount of sugar that it contains and cereal brands are fighting to come up with creative ploys to grab costumer’s attention. The cereal company, Post, has released other odd cereal flavors like Oreo’s and Golden Girls cereal (which is all blue, for some reason). Fans of Sour Patch Kids have taken to the Internet to express their concerns about the beloved candy in cereal form. Most seem to be in agreement that, while they love the sour then sweet candy, the idea of it in cereal form is pretty vile.
Uhmm I like sour patch kids but not as a cereal...🤮🤮🤮— Jo W (@mahkjchi) November 9, 2018
I cannot. No sour patch kids cereal. Sour cereal sounds cursed— Liz Ardell [they/them] @ PAX Unplugged (@crookedxhill) November 9, 2018
Is that real?! 🙈🤢 I mean I like sour patch kids, but just cause you like something doesn’t mean it’s make a great cereal flavor 🙄— AKF_Winchester || SPNJAX’18 (@AKF_Winchester) November 9, 2018
A box of Sour Patch Kids cereal will cost $3.98 at Walmart, will you be adventurous enough to try it? Maybe it will be better off without the milk like Kylie Jenner apparently eats her cereal.
