Rapper Post Malone Is Stuck On A Jet After Two Tires Blow During Takeoff

Having won a VMA for Song of The Year just last night, Post Malone is currently stuck on a jet in the air, unable to land after two tires blew during the plane's takeoff

After winning the MTV VMA for Song of the Year with song “Rockstar” and playing on stage with Aerosmith, the rapper took off earlier today out of Teterboro Airport and is now stuck in the air due to two of the plane’s tires blowing during takeoff. The plane has been circling the skies for over four hours now, trying to find the best way possible to make an emergency landing.

The jet is carrying 16 people and took off right outside of New York City just before 11 a.m. when the pilot reported that they were experiencing trouble. The Gulfstream Aerospace GLF-4 blew two tires as it took off runway 24 at Teterboro, headed to London Luton Airport in Luton, England.

The pilot was originally planned to make a landing back at the airport in New Jersey but was supposed to be diverted to Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport in Massachusetts. The FAA has now confirmed that the plane has been diverted to Stewart Airport, which is north of New York City. It’s not clear what time the jet is planned to make an emergency landing at this time.

People have already taken to Twitter showing support and hope for Malone and crew's safe return.

We hope that the plane lands safely and that no one on board is hurt due to the crazy circumstance. Let us know what you think about the situation in the comments section below and be sure to subscribe to The Sitch for more Post Malone news and other entertaining reads.
