Netflix’s Animated 'Next Gen' Is Exactly What We Need Right Now

Netflix just released a trailer for its animated sci-fi adventure comedy, Next Gen and it looks amazing

Netflix just dropped the official trailer for its new animated sci-fi adventure comedy, Next Gen and it will surely be one of the best animated shows to debut next month. Written and directed by filmmakers Kevin Adams and Joe Ksander, the show is about a young girl who becomes friends with a super-intelligent robot, voiced by John Krasinski and how the two take on the challenge of saving the world from a villainous madman.

The voice cast includes Charlyne Yi, Constance Wu, David Cross, Michael Peña, and Jason Sudeikis to name a few and the show looks like nothing short of a full feature that you would expect from one of the bigger animators like Pixar or DreamWorks. Next Gen is set to debut on Netflix September 7.
