The Museum of Pizza is opening next week in New York
That’s right, a museum dedicated solely to the greasy, cheesy, pizza pie
If you love pizza, you’ll love this museum opening in New York City on October 13th. The Museum of Pizza is the “world’s first and only immersive art experience celebrating pizza.” According to the website, #MoPi (Museum of Pizza) was created because pizza is “like a best friend…reliable, consistent, flexible, and unselfish. Always here for us when we’re hungry, happy, hurried or hungover. Pizza does not judge; it is always for the people, by the people.”
The museum, sponsored by Hidden Valley Ranch and Seamless, is said to create timeless pizza memories with free pizza, pizza installations, and pizza art. A few of the artists include Optical Animal, Adam Green, Signe Pierce, Emma Stern, Devin Troy Strother, Yuri Ogita, ShawnaX, and Rj Supa. If you’re interested in checking out the museum, you’ll need to be quick - the museum is only open from October 13-28. Get tickets here.
We definitely will be heading over at some point while it’s open. Let us know if we’ll see you there in the comments section below and be sure to subscribe to The Sitch for more pizza news and other entertaining reads.
