Martha Stewart rode her first Uber and she was not impressed

Martha Stewart called an Uber for the first time and it was ‘a mess inside and out’

After taking her first Uber ride ever, Martha Stewart took to Instagram to complain about her experience. According to the post, Stewart took “the most expensive version” of Uber (Uber X or XL) from Tiffany’s flagship store in New York City. She wanted to be picked up right outside at Fifth Avenue and 57th Street.

Stewart wrote that the first car she called never showed up and the second car parked “halfway down” the street which made Stewart unable to see the license plate. She eventually made it, but the car was facing the wrong direction which meant it had to weave around through midtown congestion and delaying her trip.

The worst part of it all? The state of the car Stewart was in. She referred to it as a “mess inside and out!!!!!!!” The post also featured the inside of the car with debris and two water bottles. Uber has responded to Stewart’s complaint and reached out to her team and her post has since come down, but it’s safe to say that Stewart likely will not be taking another Uber anytime soon.
