H&M has launched a new bra collection for breast cancer survivors

H&M has a new bra collection out this October for breast cancer survivors

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, while Serena Williams is reminding women to “touch themselves,” H&M is reminding women to treat themselves…to a new bra, that is.

H&M has released a new bra collection called “Close to My Heart” that is specifically geared towards breast cancer survivors. An H&M employee and breast cancer survivor had the original idea when she was having a hard time finding a bra that was comfortable, stylish, and affordable after her battle with the disease. 

The “Close to My Heart” collection will feature three different bra styles: a bralette, sports bra, and soft-cup style. The bras also come in neutral tones and in a variety of fabrics.

In addition to launching a new line of bras, H&M is also partnering with the American Cancer Society to raise $125,000. For every purchase made at H&M in the month of October, H&M will match the donation, up to $125,000. Not only that, but 100% of the profits from the “Close to My Heart” collection will go straight to the American Cancer Society.
