You’ll Want To See This Grand Theft Auto Music Video
DJ Solomun recently released a new music video completely shot in Grand Theft Auto 5
This month has been a time for music videos. First DJ Khaled drops “No Brainer” and now there’s a hot new music video by DJ Solomun shot entirely in Grand Theft Auto 5. This release marks the first time a real-world artist has debuted a new music video through his or her own story within the Grand Theft Auto universe.
The video is filled with Solomun’s daily in-game routine including delivering packages and trying not to get caught up with the tempting world that is GTA all while playing over Solomun’s newest EP, "Customer is King".
The video stems from GTA’s newest update GTA Online: After Hours which has added a variety of new features to the game, including the ability to own and manage your own nightclub. Various missions let you keep the club running and you have the ability to hire a DJ, which can actually be real-world artists who perform their music within the game. Artists to come later this summer include Tale of Us, Dixon and The Black Madonna.
Being one of Rockstar’s best selling games, it’s crazy to see how GTAV, a game that’s been out for nearly five years continues to innovate and stay relevant.
