Google Home and Disney are teaming up to make story time more magical
Now Disney story time can be brought to life with Google Home
In a press release, Google announced that today begins a new way to story time. Google Home will now be able to play relevant sound effects that pair up with select Little Golden Books. In order to make this possible, Google teamed up with Disney - arguably the best children's storytelling company. All parents need to do is say, "Hey Google, let's read along with Disney" and the magic will begin.
According to Google's Partner Marketing Manager Kelsey Gliva, Google wanted to "reflect the way families actually read, so if [parents] skip ahead in the book, Google Home will recognize that change and adjust to match the story. If [parents] pause...ambient music will play until [they] begin reading again."
There are a plethora of good books available but a few of the most popular books are Moana, Toy Story 3, Coco, Jack Jack Attack, Peter Pan, Cinderella, and Alice in Wonderland to name a few. For a truly magical experience, make your Google Home look like Mickey Mouse and then after story time, give your favorite Disney character a good night phone call.
We sure do wish that there had been this option for our childhood story time! Let us know what you think in the comments section below and be sure to subscribe to The Sitch for more Disney and Google news as well as other entertaining reads.
