The Dyson Airwrap may just be the future of curling irons
Dyson’s Airwrap uses air to curl your hair but is it really worth the $500 price tag?
Dyson has always been an innovator in the spaces it plays in. From developing one of the sleekest vacuums to designing fans that have no blades, the British tech company is now venturing into the world of curling irons with its new Airwrap. The Airwrap promises to curl hair, add volume, and get frizzy hair under control all without using extreme heat.
Thanks to the tiny version of the 110,000 rpm V9 motor, the Airwrap will blast air at high speeds, making long hair seemingly perfect. But that perfection doesn’t come cheap – while the average curling iron may set you back about $50, the Dyson Airwrap starts at a whopping $499.99 – that’s $100 more expensive than the company's $399 hair dryer.
Although very interesting, we may just have to skip out on Dyson beauty products - Although, we will say that our Dyson vacuum is probably one of the best investments we’ve ever made.
