These Two Commentators Go HAM Over Danny Hart’s Downhill Bike Race

Watch how excited these two tv sports commentators get from watching Danny Hart bike down a muddy hill

Here’s to a worthy throwback for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Back in 2011, nineteen-year-old professional mountain biker, Danny Hart took to the mud with one of the world’s most flamboyant runs mountain biking has ever seen. During his world championship-winning run at Champéry, Switzerland, Hart was cheered on by thousands, including two of the most entertaining sports commentators we’ve ever seen.

Even with the wet course conditions, Hart took a full 11-second lead up on his nearest competitors during the run. He was able to navigate the course in his trademark wild-and-loose style to great effect while the pre-race favorite Aaron Gwinn from the United States crashed twice, giving up all hopes at victory. Be sure to watch the full video of the race below.

While amazing to see how Hart was able to break through the difficult course to take home the win, the event is that much more entertaining to watch thanks to the lovely commentators.
