Must See: Dan Bilzerian’s Mega Mansion In Beverly Hills
The king of Instagram, Dan Bilzerian’s new Beverly Hills home is out of this world.
You probably know him as the king of Instagram. While he may only have 23.4 million followers (and his cat, @smushball has 722K followers) he knows how to live a lavish lifestyle with private jets filled with a horde of models, fleets of amazing cars, backstage access with the likes of Steve Aoki and Marshmello and most recently his own brand of cannabis.
For those of you who have never heard of Bilzerian, he’s the son of corporate takeover specialist Paul Bilzerian and Terri Steffen. He's also the brother of poker player Adam Bilzerian. His father was a corporate raider on Wall Street who set up trust funds for both of his sons, currently living on St Kitts in the West Indies only having paid $3.7m of a two-decade-old $62m judgment against him.
Bilzerian is many things. Although he went into the Navy Seal program, he never graduated. He also went to the University of Florida to study Business and Criminology before playing in the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event, finishing in 180th place. He claims that he’s made $50 million from poker alone - making as much as $10.8 million in a single night.
He’s also played his hand in Hollywood, starring in movies like Lone Survivor, Olympus Has Fallen, The Equalizer and War Dogs (he’s almost always one of those big bad guys who act as the muscle for the main villain).
But the high stakes of his lifestyle haven’t gone without toll – he reportedly suffered three heart attacks by the age of 32.
Bilzerian's new Bel Air mega-mansion, located at 10979 Chalon Road is quite the spectacle and a perfect fit for the thirty-seven-year-old playboy. The 31,000-square-foot fortress was completed last year by spec-developer Donald Bolin. It has no fewer than 12 bedrooms suites, 23 bathrooms and the 5,600-square-foot master suite features the cavernous bedroom, bathroom, and closet. Plus there’s a full spa with deluxe leather massage chairs.
The 1.03-acre lot also includes 40,000-square-feet of outdoor patio space. The estate has a rooftop tennis court, a zero-edge swimming pool, and a putting green. The motor court can hold 70 cars and there is garage space for 14. The inside also has a two-lane bowling alley, a movie theater and multiple wet bars throughout the house.
The house was first listed for sale last year for an aggressive $100 million and was later reduced to $80 million before being removed from the market. While ginormous, Bilzerian’s soon to be neighbors, the royal family of Qatar, are building a compound that will be 3-4 times larger than Bilzerian's pad once completed. The video below shows more detail of the house inside and out.
