Rajen Kishna and his wife bought a home with the intent of using one of their three bedrooms as an office space. But with a baby on the way, the two needed the extra room for a nursery and decided to convert a third of their living room into a legit office space, with windows and all.

The space ended up being a little larger than 8 feet wide and 12 feet deep and nicely houses two large custom desks, cabinets, computers, monitors, chairs with roller blade wheels to help preserve the wooden floors, a large window, and has adequate space to house their everyday workspace supplies. Each desk also has cool LED lights behind them that help add a subtle ambience to the room while he and his wife are working.

The transformation is quite the spectacle. Now Kishna just needs to find an artist to draw the cool room. Let us know what you think about the DIY office space in the comments section below and be sure to subscribe to The Sitch for more DIY conversions and other entertaining reads.
