The Brady Bunch House Is Now On The Market For $1.9 Million

The famous Brady Bunch house has officially gone on sale for the first time since 1973 for $1.9 million - about $500,000 more than the neighborhood’s median asking price.
Built in 1959, the quaint home can be found in the Studio City area of Los Angeles, California. The house was featured on every episode of the Brady Bunch during its 5-season run. Sherwood Schwartz, creator of the hit show has said that when choosing the house, the team “didn’t want it to be too affluent” but they “didn’t want it to be too blue-collar” given that Mike Brady needed to support six children as an architect.
It’s hard to believe that the family of eight, along with a live-in-maid and dog were able to fit into the 2,477-square-foot, three bedroom ranch house. Ernie Carswell & Partners, the realtors who are listing the home state that it’s the 2nd most photographed home in the United States after the White House.
The cultural icon sits on a .29-acre lot at 11222 Dilling Street, right outside of the LA River. Due to the large expected interest, Carswell & Partners will not be having any open houses.
