Beyoncé Reveals Cover Of History-Making Vogue Issue
Beyoncé history-making September issue of Vogue is here
Singers Rihanna and Beyonce are making quite a splash in the world of fashion this summer. Rihanna made headlines by being the first black woman to ever appear on the cover of British Vogue and Beyoncé hired Tyler Mitchell, the first black photographer to ever shoot a Vogue cover.
In July, it was reported that Queen Bey was given total control over the September issue of popular fashion magazine Vogue, including the cover, the captions, and even the photographs inside the issue. However, Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour was recently reported saying that "The concept and the photographer were entirely Vogue’s, specifically Raul's" — which is in reference to the magazine’s creative director Raul Martinez.
Regardless, earlier this morning Beyoncé shared several photographs from her Vogue shoot on Instagram. The posts include two cover shots with the captions, "Everyone's voice counts," and "Beyoncé in her own words." Photos from the issue can be seen below.
