Ariana Grande just released a new song all about her ex boyfriends

After her recent split with former fiance Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande has released a new single as a tribute to all of her former lovers

Ariana Grande has made quite the headline splash this year - with her rapid engagement to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller's death, and her fabulous rendition of You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman) at Aretha Franklin's funeral (along with some #metoo controversy). Now Grande has made it back to the headlines after her breakup with Davidson and a shiny new song to go along with it. The song is fittingly titled, "Thank U, Next."

Grande released "Thank U, Next" only a half hour prior to the newest episode of Saturday Night Live (starring her ex-fiance). Although the title, along with the timing of the song’s release, lend towards the possibility that Grande is bitter about the breakup, the lyrics of the song paint a picture of gratitude for her ex-boyfriends. Grande even calls them out by name: Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson, and Malcolm Miller.

Thought I’d end up with Sean

But he wasn’t a match

Wrote some songs about Ricky

Now I listen and laugh

Even almost got married

And for Pete I’m so thankful

Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm [Miller]

Cause he was an angel,

“One taught me love

One taught me patience

And one taught me pain

Now I’m so amazing

Say I’ve loved and I’ve lost

But that’s not what I see

So look what I got

Look what you taught me

And for that I say

“Thank u, next"
