Sony Is Coming Out With A Much Smaller, Cheaper PlayStation

Sony just announced that it will soon release the PlayStation Classic Micro for $100

Why spend $300 on a PS4 when you can just wait and get the PlayStation Classic micro for $100 in December? The remake of the classic PlayStation will come equipped with 20 games like Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, and Ridge Racer Type 4 built right into the console. The gaming system is also much smaller and easier to get around than its PS4 counterpart.

The new plug and play system is following Sony’s release of the NES Classic Edition last year and SNES Classic Edition earlier this year. Both consoles turned out to be a hit with nostalgic gamers and has paved the way for Sony to continue rolling out some of its classic systems for the new age. All you need in order to play the PlayStation micro is an HDMI cord, TV and a few friends. The only downside to the machine is that the controllers won’t have joysticks, since those weren’t featured on the original PlayStation.

Are you as excited as we are to play through some old school Final Fantasy? Let us know in the comments section below and be sure to subscribe to The Sitch for more gaming updates and other entertaining reads.
