Russell Brand Lets It All Hang Out In New Season Of HBO’s ‘Ballers’
Along with The Rock and Rob Corddry, Russell Brand lets everything hand out when freeing himself on a beach in L.A. while starring in HBO’s Fourth Season of Ballers premier
We here at The Sitch love watching HBO’s Ballers. Not only does it feature The Rock but it shows a picturesque version of what it’s like living as a high roller in Miami, running around in Ferraris and mega-mansions with the top ten percent of the professional sports industry.
Last night was the season premiere of the show’s fourth season. For those of you unfamiliar with Ballers, the show is about Spencer Strasmore’s (The Rock) story of redemption as he works to build financial success with his partner Joe (Rob Corddry). The series showcases the multitudes of crazy antics the two run into while coasting around Miami as money managers for some of the highest paid athletes in professional sports. Anyone wanting to see a glamorized taste of the Hollywood behind multi-million dollar athletes, Ballers might be the show for you.
For those of you familiar with the show, you’ll be glad to see that the premier had a lot going on in the short, 30-minute episode. Not only did Spencer gain a spot on the ballot for the Hall of Fame, but Ricky is still unsure of whether or not he wants to truly retire, even though his physical well being is at stake and we even get to see a beautiful shot of Sports X manager, Lance Klians' (Russell Brand) butt as he’s running into the ocean at one of Los Angeles’ beaches. The act definitely doesn't help boost Spencer and Joe’s confidence in Lance, who they’re potentially looking at making a partnership with in order to dive into the world of extreme sports.
While there’s still a lot more that takes place in the half-hour episode, you’ll just have to head over to HBO and watch the show for free and find out about the crazy fun that takes place in the world of Spencer and Joe.
