How Casey Neistat Spends His 4th of July
Who needs fireworks and hotdogs?
For this past 4th of July, it would be safe to say that most of us cooked hotdogs and hamburgers, drank some beers, hung out with friend and family, played with sparklers and probably watched some fireworks. Casey Neistat, however, does things differently (ok, he probably watched some fireworks, too).
In his vlog, posted to YouTube early last week, Casey and a group of friends toured the bay on a few boats and jet skis while riding surfboards, wakeboards and waving the American flag oh so patriotically. He even ends the video by switching out boards and is then carried by a seemingly large drone flying around in the sky, similar to the drone that carried him in a previous holiday video he posted a few years ago.
This of course isn’t the first time Neistat has used drones, a few cameras and his awesome ideas to develop viral content. He’s also snowboarded the streets of Time Square and has helped fellow YouTube star, Jessie Wellens make awesome Halloween videos, dressed as Aladdin, Silver Surfer and most recently a Rebel from the Star Wars series, looking to escape a few Storm Troopers.
With and average of 30 million monthly views, nearly 10 million subscribers and a ton of creativity, there’s literally no telling what will come next from Neistat.
