Putin Impersonator Rides The Charging Bull, Covered In Dildos

Probably the funniest thing to happen all week – this Putin impersonator was caught riding Wall Street’s Charging Bull covered in 130 dildos.

Early Monday morning, a shirtless Vladimir Putin impersonator was caught on top of Wall Street’s famous Charging Bull, which also happened to be covered in 130 dildos. The culprit was none other than Jeff Jetton, a Washington, D.C. ramen shop owner who took to the bull in an act of resistance.

Mashable reported that Jetton told them “Anybody who tells you sex toys aren’t good tools of resistance has never had a bag of dicks and a little bit of ingenuity,” via Twitter DM.

Jetton said that the stunt was the work of several activists hoping to showcase their "outrage at ongoing interference in American democracy by Vladimir Putin."

Jetton also posted about the exchange he had with the police later Tuesday night on Twitter, stating "NYPD just invited me into the 1st precinct on Monday to receive a summons for my work as Putin on the Wall Street Charging Bull. I assume that’s some kind of award?"

And according to the Daily Beast, Jetton has been conducting his own investigation on Russia for months. Per the report, he's texted with Carter Page and even scored an interview with a Steele dossier source by sending him a photo of a dog.

And of course, a ton of people on Wall Street loved the act - taking to Twitter with comments ranging from "I don’t always miss working on Wall Street. And then there’s the day someone puts a life sized Putin on top of the Wall Street Bull that’s been covered it with dildos and I get nostalgic." to "Today is a great day for #crypto. Someone stuck a fake putin and a hundred dildos on the wall street bull. I don't know what the significance of this is - but it has to be good for the market, right?"

The poor Charging Bull statue just can't seem to catch a break. With the installment of the Fearless Girl statue last year, the 7,000-pound bronze bull, which is the symbol of Wall Street, has gotten massive attention over the past couple of years.

Although Jetton says that he does not currently wish to disclose any of his future pranks, it’s hard to tell what this activist is planning to do next.
