The Baby Trump Balloon May Be Coming To A Town Near You
The 20-Foot Baby Trump Balloon Is Starting To Tour
Last Friday, President Donald Trump was greeted in London with a 20-foot balloon of himself (as a baby) protesters had inflated to welcome him. Several campaigns have raised more than $20,000 to construct the monstrosity and over 8,0000 people helped sign a petition to keep it around.
The 20-foot-high blimp floated 98ft above Parliament Square Garden, making it easy to be seen anywhere around that area of Westminster.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan, whom Trump once called “ignorant,” granted petitioners the right to fly Baby Trump no higher than 30 meters above ground from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
President Trump told The Sun “I guess when they put out blimps to make me feel unwelcome, no reason for me to go to London.”
Leo Murray, the organizer of the Trump Baby blimp project said that the reason his team pulled the stunt off was that they “thought it would be funny” and just “wanted to put a smile on everyone’s face” in times that seem to be filled with hate. According to the Guardian, the team already has enough helium ready to fly the blimp both in London and in Scotland, and there have been reports that the blimp may also come to New Jersey and Philadelphia in the states, too.
And in case you’re a fan of the Baby Trump Balloon and want to grab some swag, you can already find a slew of it on Amazon, ranging from T-shirts to coffee cups and coasters.
