The Titanic Lives Again
106 years after the tragic sinking, the Titanic II is scheduled to set sail in 2022
Australian shipping company Blue Star Line began the work over 10 years ago with the hope to create an exact replica of the famed vessel. After a few financial and constructive halts, the project is back in full swing.
The first route is scheduled to take place from Southampton, England to New York, which is the same route the first Titanic attempted in 1912. It also plans to hold the same amount of crew members and passengers over a two-week span.
But don’t worry, thankfully, modern technology should afford the latest designs and procedures to ensure the safety of its passengers.
